Come for the concert. Stay for the party. CapLive features national recording artists, up-and-comers and regional favorites of every genre in the Capitol Theatre. The Capitol, built in 1906, boasts unmatchable acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. Recent renovations to the Capitol made room for in-house beverage service, creating a music club atmosphere in this historic setting.
CapLive is an outgrowth of the 'Fresh York' movement - the coalescing of interest, enthusiasm and commitment on the part of Yorkers to spur a fresh look in their town. CapLive was an inspired solution to bring recording artists from the airwaves to the local stage.
CapLive shows are all ages and anyone attending must have a valid ID. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You of course must be 21 to drink as we have a full service bar located within the theater. No smoking inside the venue.
Tickets may be purchased through the links here on our website or through the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center Ticket Center Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM by calling 717.846.1111.
Seating for all CapLive shows are general admission, so if you want to get a prime seat, you must come early. That being said, if you have a ticket you’re going to be in for a treat as there are no bad seats in the house.
